Job Description

The Department of Ophthalmology at UT southwestern is seeking a Pediatric Optometrist for a full-time Faculty Associate position.Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Duties include working alongside our three full time Pediatric Ophthalmologists and other subspecialists in the evaluation and management of common pediatric eye conditions including refractive errors, strabismus, and amblyopia. Patients are seen at our two Pediatric ophthalmology sites, Children's Medical Center in Dallas and UT Southwestern Pediatric Group in Plano. Candidates must have an O.D. Degree from an accredited program and additional training and/or experience in Pediatric Ophthalmology. A Texas state license is required and at least one year of practical experience is preferred.
