Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant (Bilingual)

IKIDS Pediatric Dentistry, an award-winning dental office, is seeking a skilled and bilingual Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a leader in pediatric dental care, we are committed to creating a positive and comfortable environment for children while delivering top-notch oral health services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Pediatric Dentists: Work alongside pediatric dentists to provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of young patients.
  2. Bilingual Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and their parents in both English and Spanish facilitating a comfortable experience and promoting understanding of dental procedures.
  3. Certifications: Possess essential certifications, including sealant certification, Coronal polish certification, and nitrous certification. Additionally, experience with Pediatric Dentistry and proficiency in using NOMAD X-ray equipment is required.
  4. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good dental health from a young age.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, procedures performed, and any relevant patient information.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and guide the pediatric dental assistant team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  7. Sterilization and Infection Control: Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic clinical environment.

Requirements:

  1. Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  2. Certifications: Sealant certification, polish certification, nitrous certification, and experience with NOMAD X-ray equipment.
  3. Experience: Proven experience in pediatric dentistry, with a focus on working with children and adolescents.
  4. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  5. Availability: Full-time position with expected work hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
