Job Summary | The Medical Scheduler requires expertise in all aspects of medical insurance guidelines and patient appointment scheduling. The position completes the appointment process and related tasks for new and established patients. This position provides first point of contact with patient and must demonstrate a friendly demeanor and excellent patient relations. |
Minimum Education and Experience | High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year but less than 3 years of experience in high volume medical scheduling; at least 1 year but less than 3 years of medical office experience; knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance guidelines. |
