We're open to filling this role anywhere in our territory (Texas and Oklahoma).

General Purpose

To support and drive execution of Arca Continental (AC)/CCSWB Safety programs at the corporate level and support CCSWB Market Unit and Supply Chain performance. Responsible for consolidating data from multiple sources to create a comprehensive assessment of key safety and risk management initiatives, including but not limited to Geotab, Truce, Lytx, Wingman Fusion, Riskonnect, Mobileye, KOSMOS, SIGO, etc. The Safety Data Analyst will use data for analysis and actionable insights that drive the success of the initiatives and projects associated with Safety & Risk. The Data Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders (e.g., Drive Shield Core Team, Safety, Fleet, Legal, Human Resources, Risk Management, Supply Chain and Commercial/Sales teams) to provide the analytics to craft strategies and design solutions to mitigate safety/risk/operational areas. The Safety Data Analyst-Reporting to the Corporate Safety Manager, this position will work closely Risk Management, Legal, and other internal stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must, as are excellent organizational skills and an ability to multitask.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consolidate data from various sources, including but not limited to TPA, Riskonnect, and various fleet safety systems such as Lytx and Geotab.
  • Manage data related to the CCSWB Safety Corrective Action Point Deduction Process.
  • Document data flows and determine sources of data most useful to the business.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance.
  • Work with key stakeholders to analyze, define and document data and reporting needs.
  • Analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions.
  • Create reports, summaries, presentations, and process documents to display results.
  • Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyze and present data.
  • Manage reporting requirements and requests from within the company.
  • Develop systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects.
  • Monitor internal and external data points that may affect key performance indicators.
  • Gather business requirements to identify risk-focused innovative and predictive analyses needed by the business, and work on their development, reporting and visualization.
  • Identify ways to maintain the effectiveness of the risk and safety framework by monitoring, reviewing, and enhancing programs, processes, and procedures as necessary.
  • Produce ad hoc data analyses that answer pivotal questions about the business from a risk and safety perspective.
  • Create monthly loss trending reports, performance reports, and dashboards for risk and safety programs.
  • Perform other assignments as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, data analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Five+ years of safety/risk management experience preferred.
  • Solid analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle multiple projects, strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to work well independently or as part of team are critical for this role.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and RMIS/claims systems.
  • 5+ years in a data analyst role
  • Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables promptly.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • High sense of ownership and responsibility to all stakeholders to ensure work quality.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft products (ex: PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
  • Experience working with Safety/Risk Management Information Systems is a plus.
  • There will be travel 25%-35%.
