EnSafe is accepting applications for an Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist based in our Dallas office located in Farmers Branch, TX.

What We Are Looking For

An Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist who is self-motivated and eager to learn the technical skills to support various site investigations and site assessments under the guidance of project managers and senior staff. For over 43 years EnSafe has provided regulatory compliance, site assessment, and remediation services for private industry and all levels of government. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assist in tasks to support Phase I/II environmental site assessments.
• execute work plans.
• Project coordination
• Conduct site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, biota, indoor air, soil gas, and drinking water)
• Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
• Perform O&M of remedial systems, operational data collection, and troubleshooting.
• Provide data compilation, database management, statistical evaluation, and modeling.
• Prepare field documentation.
• Contribute data to technical reports.

Qualifications:

• BS in Geology, Engineering, or a related environmental science field. MS is a plus.
• 0 to 2 years of environmental field experience
• Aspirations to become a registered Professional Geologist/Engineer are a plus.
• GIS, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus.
• Communication, written and verbal, is critical to success.
• Candidate must acquire a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• Work may initially be completed remotely however the candidate must be able to transition to an office setting as required.
• The ability to travel frequently with overnights will be required.
