Responsibilities and Expectations:

As a Operations/Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic purchasing plans, managing the procurement process and optimizing inventory levels for remanufactured products.

  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans.
  • Assist in procurement for sales projects.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and negotiate vendor contracts.
  • Utilize data analytics for inventory tracking and optimization.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor inventory-related key performance indicators.
  • Provide actionable insights for improved inventory management.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and regulations for innovation opportunities.
  • Efficiently order parts as per department instructions.
  • Maintain detailed procurement records.
  • Ensure high service quality and timely delivery management.
  • Resolve purchasing issues and streamline supply chain processes.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High school diploma
  • Three years' experience in manufacturing/services operational processes preferred
  • Vendor and purchasing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work procedures and apply strong analytical problem-solving dynamics in a continuous improvement environment
  • Ability to perform math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages
  • Strong customer focus with professional communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Available to work overtime
