Position Summary

Responsible for all receiving and shipping of medical instruments, component parts and miscellaneous items into and from the facility and coordinating the daily route schedule of medical instrument deliveries

Duties
  • Unpacks, identifies, examines and sorts incoming supplies.
  • Coordinates daily route schedule for medical instrument delivery. Works closely with the delivery drivers to ensure timely deliveries and to mitigate any issues with delivery.
  • Compares identifying information of incoming supplies to verify Sales/Purchase Orders, invoices, packing lists and/or other records.
  • Ensures the accuracy of shipping documents and verifying receiving supplies with SRN's and other documents.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and collaborates with Supply lead.
  • Coordinates shipping to ORC locations as needed.
  • Escalates issues, problems and discrepancies to Manager.
  • Maintains receiving/shipping area in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
  • Coordinates truck service and maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education Degree
  • High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
  1. Driver logistics/schedule coordination experience.
  2. Minimum 3 years experience with shipping/receiving logistics including experience loading and unloading trucks from docks.

Preferred Experience

1. CDL preferred

Skills
  1. Intermediate MS Office and data entry skills.
  2. Must have the ability to multi-task.
  3. Must be able to conceptually understand the various shipping processes.
  4. Must possess strong organizational skills.
  5. Must possess good communication skills and attention to detail.
  6. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to details of the shipping/receiving requirements.
