Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Risk Analyst with Issue Management for an opportunity with a client located in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Controls team member supporting Data Management Technology (DMT)
  • Ambassador of the risk culture
  • Lead ongoing risk review meetings
  • Encourage the Self-Identified Audit Issues and help with creation and remediation
  • Expecting the candidate to have knowledge of Global Information Security Policy
  • This role influences across multiple levels of management and business partners to ensure deliverables, timelines and support are met
  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • Expected to partner with DMT application teams to improve process understanding and drive adherence
  • Collaborate with Business Control function partners to identify opportunities to influence and improve policies, standards, and tools
  • Lead operational alignment with enterprise requirements and drive BAU routines
  • Assist with facilitating at the Bi-Weekly Risk Governance Forum - share updates on key efforts and initiatives related to policies, standards, and tools impacting application teams
  • Provide a forum for application teams to raise process-related issues, questions, concerns and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide advice and guidance to DMT Senior Leaders on responses, as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a large, fast-paced, results-oriented company
  • Compliance Operational Risk experience
  • Provide Data Analysis; ability to sift through data (filter, create pivots via Excel) look for trends and tell a story
  • Keen eye for dashboard reporting; tweak existing reporting and/or create Risk Dashboard (s) for Sr. Leadership usage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Ability to provide guidance and consultation and effective feedback
  • Effective partnering skills to build consensus; proven ability to influence peers/stakeholders across multiple groups
  • Application Governance knowledge
  • Internal or External Audit experience
